Where are living that you saw snow?!!! Must be the meds. Looking into trying to do community screenings for the film. Hope I can get something going.
I’ve finally been unblessed by my fairly blessed life with a diagnosis of Prostate Cancer. Start treatment in a week or so.
I, also, saw a documentary on a Native American horseback ride of 330 miles to honor 38 Lakota Indian leaders that were executed by order of Abraham Lincoln. Movie is called “Dakota 38″. I met the movie maker and the Native American who had the inspiration for the documentary. As usual I volunteered my contacts to be of assistance if the above wanted any advice on distribution of the film. That would be you, two and my Paramount nephew. So if I have stepped on your toes and you’d rather be left alone, I’ll make it happen.

Mountain hiking is a favorite family activity of mine too. Your story of the hikes excite me about taking Eva hiking at altitude someday. Love the updates. This film festival was a starting point, but so much has happened since you were accepted it seemed insufficient. I assure you, it wasn’t. Love to you both & to sweet Rupie!

Ana, two friends & I made the pilgrimage to Chimayo when my sister was pregnant with her first. 4 children later, Eva is born with CF. I keep a Mary tin of the holy dirt under her crib. I trust it will work for you as well as it has worked for her so far! Your advocacy inspires me, and I an so happy you visited one of my favorite sacred spaces while doing your work. XO, Susan

Molly and I met you all at the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival at the Corazon Wednesday night. As I watched the film Thursday, I thought how Japan might need organ donations more than ever with the Tsunami and reactor effects. Without exploiting the tragedy, there ought to be a way to encourage organ donation to save more lives. Another issue that you two already champion but could give more emphasis to is for professional patients to have an advocate in dealing with the medical bureaucracy. The coherance and energy of someone under medical crisis is limited and you both were blessed with a twin as an advocate. Thanks for sharing your story! Don’t forget the tangerines for the staff next time you’re in the hospital.
