Producer and director Marc Smolowitz stops to reflect on the Japan tour and what it means for ‘The Power Of Two’ as well as the movements concerning organ transplant and cystic fibrosis in Japan. Marc then looks to the future as he talks about the next steps for the film project in the US and the fundraising necessary to make it all happen.

Ana and Isa leave the Kansai region to visit Okinawa, and then return to Tokyo where they are interviewed by newspapers, magazines, and a radio DJ. Marc Smolowitz takes time to interview members of the Japanese Parliament who have been working on reforming transplant law in Japan, and then everyone visits the US embassy in Tokyo before packing up to head home to San Francisco.

Ana and Isa took part in the 18th Annual Transplant Sports Games in Fukuoka, Japan. It’s a small community of people, but all attending are very active and involved in the cause. Participants included transplant recipients, donor families, doctors, and volunteers. In addition to the Japanese, four other countries were also represented in the games, which took place over a weekend.
