Stanford takes over United Nations Association Film Festival
Today marks Day 1 of the 14th United Nations Association Film Festival, originally founded by Stanford educator Jasmina Bojic to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Every year UNAFF showcases the most powerful and timely documentaries from all over the globe, with this year’s theme being “Education Is A Human Right.” Screenings, panel discussions and receptions with filmmakers will take place in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, San Francisco and Stanford campus through Sunday, Oct. 30.
