The Power Of Two – Conversations with Cystic Fibrosis Moms

In this video, viewers encounter personal & intimate stories told from the unique perspectives of (7) inspiring mothers who have children living with the fatal genetic disease Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Notably, one of the moms featured is the mother of Anabel Stenzel & Isabel Stenzel Byrnes, the twins who are featured in the upcoming documentary feature film THE POWER OF TWO by Marc Smolowitz. The others range in age and experience - some currently raising toddlers and teens with CF; others grateful to see their adult children living well into their 30s. Each mother offers a candid take on the daily challenges that come with chronic illness, the gifts that some times come in the form of double lung transplantation, and the family wisdom that often comes from living with disease over a life time. Finally, the video is anchored by Anabel and Isabel's powerful interaction with a young CF family in Fukuoka, Japan - a country with very few resources in place to support families currently impacted by the disease.
- SPECIAL THANKS to CFRI for allowing THE POWER OF TWO to shoot most of these interviews at the Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc. 22nd Annual Education Conference. Learn more at www.CFRI.org.

I was married to a physician with C.F. and we had a son who is now 36 and also a physician. My husband passed away at 38 before just as they were starting transplants so he didn’t have the chance to get one but we are so happy to hear about how well the sisters are doing. With best wishes Beverly Gould
