The Gift of Life Donor Program, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, presented the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children with a Silver Medal of Honor for Organ Donation. The medal is awarded to hospitals reaching a donation rate of 75 percent of eligible donors.
